Show #247, Candle Under a Bushel Parable. In this program we continue to look at the parables of our Lord. We already covered the Parables of the Sower, the Wheat and the Tares, the Mustard Seed, the Seed Cast in the Ground. Here we move on to the Parable of the Candle in Mark 4 and Luke, chapter 8. This one is also under the category of those parables that have for their subject matter the laws of the Kingdom of God or the Divine Kingdom in its growth, its nature and its consummation.

You will recall that the parables are categorized into 3 main subject matters – those that speak of the Divine Kingdom, those that are drawn from the life of men, and those that are prophetic. Show #244, On Politics as a Responsibility. As I have followed various elections taking place in recent times, observing what the big political issues are that make a difference in the voting of the common people, I realize that there is a lesson in them for all of us in this end time generation. Today I am replaying a program that I did about two or three years ago, with current updates because many people are heading for elections in various areas of Canada, the U.S. and other places. I also talk about what a church can and cannot do or say in politics, according to the political powers there be!
